The warband grows and Slegg has been busy, not content with his own gear, he has found and corralled a weirdboy into action.
Ah yes the beloved Ork Psyker. Two mastery levels to choose from (2 or 4), no armour or equipment bar the one wargear card and a tendency to be super vulnerable when a Witch Hunt mission is drawn by the opposing army.
One thing I do love about the old Weirdboys and the Warpheads is the amount of models to choose from. With so much character showing from the grumpy looking Goff one to the Deathskull one that sports sunglasses. I mean just look at this selection!

That's a lot of potential explodin' heads!
I especially like that each clan got there own weirdboy as well as the various neutral options. Along with that is the two one piece weirdboys with minderz (aimed vomit one is excellent). I personally own quite a few of these the two neutral weirdboys (not the one with hair). The Bad Moon, Deathskull, Goff and the right hand side 'heavy night out' one, I also own the screaming at the heavens Bad Moon warphead that was released later on.
They also present a novel challenge for painting as although they are associated with a clan or your army they also should be in bright colours to indicate to the lads that a weirdboy is about.
"Oi Wurrzee!" oh fo da luv of Mork. "The camera is overhere!"
This is Wurrzee one of the non-clan weirdboys. As you can see despite that I have painted him up in a strong yellow colours so he could be a Bad Moon.
"No not there, stop messin wit dat squig!"
I like this model because he is rather animated about something and his staff for grounding the Waaagh energies is very characterful. All those faces along with the hair, makes it all a bit Temple of Doom.
It's funny but I never know if this arm sprue is supposed to be a glove or just a bangle around the wrist for the orks, I guess it doesn't really matter too much.
"Nearly got it Wurrzee. Yes your glove is nice!"
I used the standard goblin green, dark angels green wash for the skin. The clothing is a combo of averland yellow and bad moon yellow with a little bit of Evil Sunz red for the orange hue sections. Bells and bone sections were scorpion brass and shining gold, or bleached bone and a black wash mainly.
"Yes now I can take a good", "Quit shoving you guys, now look at this tilted shot!"
The staff started off a brass colour, but slowly became a more chalky grey with a slight purple tint tot he hair. washed in black.
"That's better, thanks Baldo and Mopgit for holding him still"
You may have seen these two orks in previous posts, but here they are acting as Minderz for Wurrzee. This weirdboy is now ready to call on Mork and Gork to stomp on some humans, or maybe just get the ladz fired up before his head explodes :) !
Until next time.
